During a Reiki session, the practitioner uses a light touch to balance energy and bring in healing energy wherever it is needed in the body of the receiver. The word Rei means universal and Ki means Life Energy. Everything is made up of energy and when our body has a block due to pain, trauma, injury or emotion – Reiki can help move that energy and bring relaxation, stress reduction and healing.
